So, what exactly is ISSC 2026?

It is a secondary school football championship bringing 21 schools together on one platform.

But the competition is bigger than the matches.

It is designed to create opportunities for young students to compete, be discovered, build confidence, learn discipline and connect with other communities.

Different schools.

Different communities.

One game.

Others build possibilities.

Today as Chief Emeka Nkem Mba celebrates his 59th birthday,we are reminded that building a media platform in the South-East has never been easy.

Infrastructure challenges.

High operating costs.

Regulatory hurdles.

The struggle to convince people that our stories deserve platforms.

Yet the vision continued.

That journey resonates with what we are building at ONFL.

Grassroots football has talent everywhere but talent needs structure, visibility and a platform.

Afia TV is telling the story of the East through media.

ONFL wants to tell the story of the East through grassroots football.

Hopefully, someday those two stories will meet.
