Sometimes God Removes People Because You Would Never Leave.
One of the hardest things I have had to accept in my healing journey is this…
Sometimes the reason God allows certain relationships break apart is because He knows you would have stayed forever… even in pain.
Some of us are too loyal for our own good.
We keep excusing bad behavior.
Keep hoping people will change.
Keep praying over people who are slowly destroying us emotionally.
And because our hearts are soft, we confuse suffering with love.
That was me.
There were relationships, friendships, even certain environments I kept holding onto because I saw the “good” in people.
Meanwhile God was seeing the damage.
Sometimes you are praying:
“Lord keep this person in my life.”
While Heaven is saying:
“This person is the very reason your peace is dying.”
And the painful part?
When God starts removing them, it can feel like punishment.
You cry.
You question God.
You wonder why things suddenly changed.
But later… much later… you finally realize:
God was not destroying your life.
He was protecting it.
Because the truth is, some of us would have kept bleeding trying to save people who were never trying to heal.
So sometimes God allows distance.
Silence.
Exposure.
Disconnection.
Not because He hates you…
But because He loves you enough to remove what you were too emotionally attached to walk away from yourself.
And honestly?
Some doors only closed because God knew you lacked the strength to close them yourself. 🤍
