Sometimes God Removes People Because You Would Never Leave.

One of the hardest things I have had to accept in my healing journey is this…

Sometimes the reason God allows certain relationships break apart is because He knows you would have stayed forever… even in pain.

Some of us are too loyal for our own good.

We keep excusing bad behavior.
Keep hoping people will change.
Keep praying over people who are slowly destroying us emotionally.

And because our hearts are soft, we confuse suffering with love.

That was me.

There were relationships, friendships, even certain environments I kept holding onto because I saw the “good” in people.

Meanwhile God was seeing the damage.

Sometimes you are praying:
“Lord keep this person in my life.”

While Heaven is saying:
“This person is the very reason your peace is dying.”

And the painful part?

When God starts removing them, it can feel like punishment.

You cry.
You question God.
You wonder why things suddenly changed.

But later… much later… you finally realize:

God was not destroying your life.

He was protecting it.

Because the truth is, some of us would have kept bleeding trying to save people who were never trying to heal.

So sometimes God allows distance.
Silence.
Exposure.
Disconnection.

Not because He hates you…

But because He loves you enough to remove what you were too emotionally attached to walk away from yourself.

And honestly?

Some doors only closed because God knew you lacked the strength to close them yourself. 🤍

Please… Pray.

About a month ago, the Holy Spirit corrected something in me.

I realized… I have been praying for a husband all my life—but I have been praying wrong.

I was praying for the outcome…
But not praying through the process.

I prayed for a godly man…
But I never prayed him into becoming godly.

I prayed for a successful man…
But I never prayed him through the process of becoming that man.

I prayed for love, marriage, and a beautiful home…
But I ignored the details that can either make or break that same home.

Not until recently, I had never even prayed about my in-laws.

And let’s be honest…
You can marry a good man or woman and still struggle because of the family they come from.

Then yesterday, it hit me again.

I have never prayed about things like baby mamas, exes, or past entanglements—the kind of baggage that can quietly destroy peace in a marriage.

And this morning… the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to something even deeper.

We pray for a perfect man.
We pray against divorce.

But how many of us pray about longevity?

How many of us pray:

“Lord, don’t give me a partner who is not destined to live long.”

Because widowhood is real.
And it is painful.

Some marriages don’t end in divorce…
They end too soon.

And I had to be honest with myself:

I don’t want a marriage that lasts 2, 3, 5, or even 10 years and that’s all we had.

I want time.
I want memories.
I want a life built together… fully.

“Till death do us part” should not come earlier than God’s will.

So this morning, I added that to my prayers too.

And that’s why I’m saying this to you:

Before you choose who to spend the rest of your life with…

Please… pray.

Pray beyond the surface.
Pray beyond attraction.
Pray beyond what you see.

Because marriage is not just about finding the right person…

It is about covering that person—and your future—with the right prayers.

The Bible says in 4:6:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition… present your requests to God.”

Every situation.

Not just the obvious ones.

So don’t just pray for love.

Pray for the journey.
Pray for the process.
Pray for the future you cannot see.

Because some prayers don’t just prepare you…

They protect you. 🤍

The other day, I watched a man break down on a podcast, sharing how his wife of 10 years left him, secretly married another man abroad, and he never saw it coming. They were still legally married, while he was left to pick up the pieces. And this broke something inside me, because it made me realize how many men silently carry the weight of betrayal, abuse, and emotional neglect.

In our society—especially in Nigeria—men are expected to just “suck it up.” to hold it all in, to carry the pain quietly. But the truth is, men also suffer in silence—whether it's betrayal, financial manipulation, or emotional abuse. Yes, women can be victims, and yes, women can also be perpetrators.

Abuse is not gendered; it’s human.

Men, it’s okay to speak up. It’s okay to say, “I am hurting.” It’s okay to seek help when your marriage or relationship is breaking you down. You don’t have to hide behind strength—real strength is found in speaking your truth. And if you’re a man reading this, know this: you are not alone, and you don’t have to suffer in silence. Let’s break the stigma. Men, speak up.

Unprocessed trauma doesn’t disappear.

It just hides.

It shows up in your reactions.
In your triggers.
In the way you love.
In the way you push people away.

You may not talk about it…
but it speaks through your life.

That anger you can’t explain.
That fear of being abandoned.
That need to control everything.
That pattern you keep repeating…

It didn’t come from nowhere.

It came from something you never allowed yourself to face.

The truth is…

What you don’t heal, you carry.
And what you carry, you eventually become.

Healing is not about pretending it didn’t hurt.
It is about having the courage to say:

“This affected me… and I need to deal with it.”

Because ignoring pain doesn’t make you strong.

It makes you stuck.

The Bible says in 147:3:

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

But notice…

You must first admit you are wounded.

So stop running.
Stop suppressing.
Stop masking it with distractions.

Face it.
Process it.
Heal from it.

Because unprocessed trauma doesn’t disappear…

It waits.

And healing is the only way forward. 🤍

BREAKING FREE.

This is not just a book…
This is my story.
My truth.
My healing.

For years, I carried what I could not explain…
Pain… silence… battles I never spoke about.

But God.

He didn’t just bring me out…
He showed me how to break free.

And now… I’m sharing it.

đź“– BREAKING FREE
Official Release: April 30

This one is for anyone who has ever felt trapped…
overwhelmed…
or like a moment was the end.

It’s not the end.

It never was.

08/04/2026

Guard your peace.

I have said this before, and I will keep saying it…

You can never overemphasize the need for boundaries.

You only have one shot at life.
One life to live.
One mind to protect.
One heart to guard.

Don’t waste your lifeline trying to be everything to everyone.

Not every conversation deserves your energy.
Not every relationship deserves your access.
Not every situation deserves your presence.

If it does not give you peace…

It is okay to say NO.

No without explanation.
No without guilt.
No without overthinking it later.

Because peace is not a luxury.
It is a necessity.

The Bible says in 4:23:

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

That means your life flows from your peace.

So protect it.

Protect your mind.
Protect your space.
Protect your energy.

Because anything that constantly steals your peace…
is too expensive to keep. 🤍
