‼️💥 Argentina’s FA (AFA) actually wants to retire the No. 10 shirt from the national team, but… 🇦🇷

The AFA has long expressed its desire to retire Lionel Messi’s No. 10 once he steps away from international football. AFA president Claudio Tapia has spoken about the idea since around 2023–2024.

However, FIFA regulations prevent the shirt from being permanently retired in official competitions.

For major tournaments such as the World Cup and Copa América, squads must use consecutive shirt numbers (1–26), meaning No. 10 cannot simply be left vacant.

A similar attempt was rejected before. Ahead of the 2002 World Cup, the AFA asked FIFA to retire No. 10 in honour of Diego Maradona, but the request was denied. The shirt was ultimately worn by Ariel Ortega.

‼️💥 ℕ𝔼𝕎𝕊: Man City players could potentially walk away for free amid the fallout from the Premier League verdict, according to The Sun.

Leading barrister Paul Gilroy KC says players could potentially argue that City breached the implied “trust and confidence” term in their contracts, giving them grounds to seek to terminate their deals.

🇳🇴 Erling Haaland and other City stars are reportedly not believed to have relegation clauses, meaning legal action could become a route to leave without a transfer fee.

🔵 City were found guilty of 114 of the initial 115 charges, with the case now listed at 130 charges.

📅 October 2: Appeal deadline
⚖️ Gilroy believes the legal battle could potentially continue for up to five years, depending on further appeals and proceedings.

🚨 NEWSFLASH 📰 ‼️
🎙️ Cristiano Ronaldo when asked how he feels about not getting any minutes against Norway;

🗣️"People see my face and they want to make up stories, but inside my head, I was just watching the young lads out there doing a brilliant job. I’m competitive—my mind is always racing, thinking about how I can enter the pitch and influence the game even more positively. I can’t help it, that is just who I am. But please, don't mistake that focus for disappointment or frustration. Absolutely not.

I want what is best for Portugal, period. If Jorge Jesus decides the team didn't need me on the pitch today, I completely respect and support his decision. Jorge is a manager I trust deeply, so whatever he chooses is fully fine with me. Nothing more than that. Maybe next match I play, maybe I don't—it doesn't matter. As long as Portugal wins, I am happy."

Estavao Willian is going no where🤩🤩🤩

Despite all the rumors of Estavao being concerned about his game time at Chelsea and considering leaving 😒😒

Chelsea has said they have no plans to sell Estavao, they consider him untouchable and an important player😎😎

Estavao remains committed to Chelsea as he is considered the future of the club🙏🙏

Xabi Alonso must now find a way to make sure Estavao is happy at Chelsea and the only way to make that possible is to give
him more game time👌👌

As a Chelsea fan, how do you feel knowing that Chelsea are not open to selling Estavao🧐🧐

Now Xabi Alonso must create a system that suits this star boy👌👌

Republic of Ireland players lowered their heads during the National anthem of Israel.

Ireland players didn’t shake hands with the Israeli players at all tonight. No Irish fan traveled for the game. In fact, Irish fans wanted them to boycott the game.

Ireland is clear on their stance on Gaza, they wore black armbands for lives lost in Gaza. 🇮🇪🙏🏻

They ended up thrashing Israel 3-0.
