โ๏ธMany fans are asking how Barcelona can spend big on transfers while seeking a โฌ400M loan for the Spotify Camp Nou.
The answer is that: they're separate issues. Barรงa's finances have improved thanks to higher revenues, new sponsors, the return to Camp Nou, and the departure of several high-salary players. This has allowed the club to return to LaLiga's 1:1 rule and spend more freely in the transfer market.
Meanwhile, the โฌ400M loan is specifically for completing the stadium and will be repaid through future Camp Nou revenues such as VIP seats, hospitality, sponsorships, and naming rights. It does not directly affect Barcelona's transfer budget.
That's why Barรงa can sign players like Anthony Gordon and still finance the final stages of the new Camp Nou project.
