Many people out there might have heard the word 'Importation' but do not understand or see a reason as to why they need it.

I'm here to enlighten us on the topic of “Importation”

Importation is the commercial activity of buying and bringing in goods from a foreign country, either for sale or personal use.

Importation does not begin and end in China. It cuts across several countries like Turkey, Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, etc. But, most importation is from China because they offer quality products at a relatively cheap price. And in China, you can find everything and anything you think of.

Gone are the days when people used to travel down to a particular country before they can access the market in that country.
Nowadays, it is mostly done using smartphones or computer systems.

The good thing about Importation is that it can be done by anybody, be it students, housewives, civil servants, bankers, etc. because you can start and finish the process right from your

Importation is not limited to importing items for sale

They tell me that importation is not profitable because of the high dollar rate.

The truth is, no matter the increase in dollar rate, importation will still take place

It's because the average Nigerian uses 3–10 imported products every day.

Even with the hike in the dollar exchange rate, people still buy and import these items.
