We are pleased to announce that our academy graduate, Adama Isaiah, has joined the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Plateau United.

Adama was a key member of our team during his time with the Omorinoye Boys, before making the move to Kogi United and subsequently securing a transfer to Plateau United.

He joined Kogi United last season following a successful NLO campaign with us. After another impressive campaign with Kogi United, Adama has now completed a move to Plateau United during the current transfer window.

The prolific goal poacher captained us to our first major honour in Kwara State, leading the team to victory in the 2022 Kwara State League.

He also finished as the Highest Goal Scorer and was crowned the King of Amapro during our triumphant 2025 campaign.

Adama featured for us in our debut Nigeria Youth League Cup campaign and played a significant role as we narrowly missed out on promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL) in 2025.

The club wishes Adama the very best of luck as he begins this new chapter of his career with Plateau United.

We are proud of his journey and look forward to seeing him continue to grow and succeed at the highest level.

We concluded the first day of our open-day screening as preparations officially commence for the 2026/2027 campaign.

The training session was competitive and exciting, with about 50 players taking part in the opening trial held on Monday at the club’s training ground.

Speaking after the session, Coach Oniye Muhammed appreciated the commitment and determination displayed by the players throughout the trial.

He stressed that all the players possess qualities capable of helping them perform at the highest level.

However, he noted that the mission of the technical crew and the team is to identify and select quality and exceptional players who can contribute to the club’s success and help the team achieve its objectives in the upcoming campaign.

In his remarks, the Director of the Academy, Mr. Taiwo Olowe, also praised the players for their impressive performance and commitment during the session.

He urged them to maintain their focus, discipline and determination as the screening continues, while encouraging them to continue giving their best in their quest to earn a place in the team.

We have been officially announced and confirmed to participate in the 2026/2027 Nigeria Youth League Cup.

The Omorinoye Boys featured in last season’s competition, finishing fourth in the South-West region and securing qualification for the Super 8 Playoffs. However, our campaign came to an end following a defeat in Eket, Akwa Ibom.

With our participation now confirmed for the new season, we are determined to build on last year’s experience, improve on our previous achievement and go further in the competition.

House of Prayer Academy's Abdullahi Jonathan Completes Move to Kigali City FC

House of Prayer Football Academy has confirmed the transfer of our midfielder Abdullahi Jonathan Agogo to Rwandan club Kigali City FC on a season long-loan.

Jonathan played a key role in the academy's successful campaign, helping the team finish fourth in the South Western Zone and secure qualification for the Nigeria Youth League Cup Super 8 with a series of impressive performances.

The academy thanked him for his contributions and wished him success in the next phase of his career, congratulating him on his move to Rwanda.

House of Prayer FA Begins Open Screening Ahead Of 2026/27 Campaign

House of Prayer Football Academy has commenced preparations for the 2026/2027 football season with an open screening and talent identification programme for young footballers.

The screening is open to players in the U-15 to U-19 age categories. The five-day screening will hold from Monday, August 24, to Friday, August 28, 2026, starting at 7:00am daily at the UMCATC Football Pitch, opposite Air Force Base, Ajasr-Ipo Road, Ilorin, Kwara State.
