It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Coach, Akingbadega Adekunle, popularly known and celebrated by all as β€œCaptain”.

Coach Adekunle was more than a coach to us at Buffalo United FC he was a mentor, a disciplinarian, and a passionate builder of young talents. For many years, he worked tirelessly and selflessly in training both the football players and academy students of the club, dedicating his strength, wisdom, and time to the growth of football and the future of young people in Ile-Oluji and beyond.

His impact on this club and the lives he touched can never be forgotten. His voice, passion, commitment, and the energy with which everyone proudly hailed him β€œUP COACH!” will forever remain in our hearts.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, players, supporters, and everyone connected to the Buffalo United FC family during this painful moment.

Coach β€œCaptain” may be gone from our sight, but his legacy, teachings, and contributions to the game will continue to live on through every player he trained and every life he inspired.

Rest on, Coach.
