Africa’s Most Popular Twin Brothers, Kehinde and Taiwo Oguntoye, Tie the Knot With Twin Sisters in Rare Ibadan Double Wedding
Africa’s popular twin brothers, Kehinde and Taiwo Oguntoye, are set to marry a pair of twin sisters in a rare double wedding ceremony taking place in Ibadan on Saturday, June 20, Peoples Conscience report.
In an unusual coincidence, Taiwo Oguntoye will marry a female twin also named Taiwo, while his brother, Kehinde Oguntoye, will exchange vows with another female twin named Kehinde.
The couples held their traditional engagement ceremony on Friday, ahead of the white wedding scheduled for Saturday.
The Oguntoye twins, who are multi-award-winning tourism ambassadors, are widely recognised as “The Most Famous Twins in Africa Tourism” and hold the distinction of being the first twins in Africa to jointly produce and present a tourism programme on air.
Beyond their contributions to tourism, Kehinde and Taiwo Oguntoye have been instrumental in the successful hosting of the annual Igbo-Ora Twins Festival in recent years and have remained critical stakeholders in the planning, promotion and organisation of the globally celebrated event, which showcases Igbo-Ora’s reputation as the twin capital of the world.
Sharing photos from their engagement ceremony in a joint Instagram post, the brothers expressed gratitude to God and appreciated everyone who joined them in celebrating the special occasion.
The rare union of twin brothers and twin sisters with matching names has attracted widespread admiration, adding another remarkable chapter to the story of two of Africa’s most celebrated twins.
