โ€ผ๏ธโ˜Ž๏ธ ๐”ผ๐•โ„‚๐•ƒ๐•Œ๐•Š๐•€๐•๐”ผ: Cristianoโ€™s friend Edu Aguirre on why Cristiano is unhappy:

โ€œThere was a meeting yesterday, Tuesday night. An exclusive meeting between the federation president, the national team coach and Cristiano.

Jorge Jesus apologised to Cristiano for the disrespect of having him warm up for 30 minutes and then not bringing him on. And he didnโ€™t just apologise privately. He also told Cristiano that he would apologise publicly and admit that he had made a mistake.

That was Jorge Jesusโ€™ promise to Cristiano. Then he went to the press conference and told a series of lies that nobody believes.

Thatโ€™s why Cristiano exploded. Cristiano exploded because he felt betrayed. Thatโ€™s it. Thatโ€™s how it is.

Your coach comes to you privately and says: โ€˜Look, this happened. I understand. I didnโ€™t handle it well. Weโ€™re together. Iโ€™m sorry. If I have a press conference, Iโ€™ll clarify it and apologise. Donโ€™t worry, everything will be fine. Everything will be resolved.โ€™

Then, 12 hours later, you go to a press conference and make things worse for Cristiano, asserting your authority and making it clear that youโ€™re in charge and Cristiano is just another player.

โ€˜Go home and move on.โ€™Thatโ€™s why I call it betrayal.โ€

Jorge Jesus: โ€œWhen it comes to Ronaldo, one question is enough; three questions are too many.

โ€œYou should ask only two questions about Ronaldo, and I wonโ€™t answer any more.

โ€œRonaldo is not the main reason Iโ€™m here. The main focus is Denmark, and I am the national team coach.โ€

๐Ÿงจโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐”น๐•†๐•†๐•„: Cristiano Ronaldo leaves the stadium and heads to the Portugal team hotel, where he will wait for his private jet back to Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo could retire from international football and bring his Portugal career to an end following the polemic with manager Jorge Jesus.

The tension has reached a point where Ronaldoโ€™s future with the national team is now in SERIOUS DOUBT.

โ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฅ Ian Wright: โ€œWhat Man City did was done through illegal meansโ€

โ€œLook at the suffering Jรผrgen Klopp went through to compete with them; in the end, they broke Klopp himself! What happened was cheating on a massive scale."
