With today’s goalless draw, it’s now official, Gombe Sporting Fc is out of the Gombe State League Division One 2025.

It’s a tough moment, but we hold our heads high. The team gave it their all, and we’re proud of every player who wore the badge with passion.

To our fans, your strong support meant everything. This may be the end of our journey in this competition, but it’s not the end of our story.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF PETER RUFAI

It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that the management, players, and entire Gombe Sporting Football Club family mourn the passing of one of Nigeria's football legends, Peter Rufai, former Super Eagles goalkeeper.

Peter Rufai was not just a remarkable athlete, he was a national icon, a source of pride to millions of Nigerians, and a role model to countless young goalkeepers across the country. His passion, dedication, and leadership on and off the pitch will never be forgotten.

As a club, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, former teammates, and the entire Nigerian football community. May his soul rest in perfect peace, and may his legacy continue to support the next generation of footballers.
