🚨 Rasmus Hojlund is 20, has little experience, and yet again finds himself living off scraps at in a Man Utd game with not a single chance created for him vs League 2 Newport County.

0 shot's until the final minutes, a chance in which he found and created for himself. He makes multiple good runs, unselfishly creates for his teammates, yet those teammates don't return the favour.

Every time he gets the ball in a good area, he converts, with 8 goals in 20 full games. When you consider that Man United is the 5th lowest PL side for chances created, this is pretty good.

We played well in the first 30 minutes, and the cutbacks caused Newport problems, then we got complacent, and players started being selfish, wasting chances. Hopefully, it can be coached out of them.

All in all, I think every Man Utd fan will agree when I say build the team around Mainoo, Martinez, and Hojlund; they are the future.

🚨 JUST IN: Manchester United staff were informed today that the remit of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS will extend beyond sporting operations, as initially planned, but will also extend to commercial decisions. Meeting attendees were also promised cultural change within United. Patrick Stewart stressed that the club was now committed to instilling a “football first culture”.

🚨 While it is the case that the primary focus and responsibility of INEOS will be to run football operations, it is now clear that the Glazer family are prepared to provide a broader license and latitude for Ratcliffe’s company to drive change beyond the club’s training base at Carrington in order to bring football success to the club. INEOS feel that MUFC's commercial possibilities will be hugely increased by on-field success. Therefore, INEOS will have a say in the club's commercial operations as well as the sporting ones.
