Maikunkele United Lauds Deputy Chief of Staff (DCoS) for Support

The management of Maikunkele United Football Club has expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Sadiq Yusuf, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Niger State, for his instrumental role in the team's recent success. The club secured a spot in the Nigeria National League (NNL) after emerging as group winners at the NLO Playoff in Abuja.

Chairman of Maikunkele United, Hon. Shuaibu Yakubu (Labosa), conveyed the club's appreciation, highlighting Hon. Yusuf's passion for football development in Niger State. "We sincerely appreciate Hon. Maikunkele United has secured a spot in the Nigeria National League (NNL) for the 2025/2026 season after winning their group at the Bwari Centre. They edged out NA Royal Ilorin 3-1 in their final group game, thanks to two second-half goals from substitute Joshua Aguye and a first-half strike from Amina Alhassan.
