On Sunday, the 23rd of October 2022. The National Association of Women in Sports (NAWIS) Anambra State Chapter were live at the inauguration Ceremony of the Rugby Team at Our Lady's Secondary school Nnobi, Anambra state. This Inaugration was spear headed by Ambassador Princess Alban Ugonweze, a member of the Association , Sports Ambassador and Former Rugby Champion.
The Inaugration kicked off at about 10:00 am with an Inaugration mass at the School Premises, afterwards, the Rugby match kicked Off
The match was between the Delta State Team and the Student of the School at both Junior and Senior levels.
The Members of NAWIS were in high attendance as we aim to promote sports from the grassroot levels and with what our member has done. NAWIS Anambra STATE Chapter led by Mrs Faith Okwonna was there present with her Vice , Dr. Mrs. Nkiru Okoro , in show of Support and Solidarity, the Association had gifted the Most valued Player of the Match at both Female and Male Categories.
