The Nigeria Kabaddi Sports Association (NKSA) and the Federation International Sports Law Associations (FISLA), Nigeria, extend our deepest sympathies and solidarity to the people of Nepal at this difficult and painful time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the devastating floods, particularly the families who have lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods.

In this hour of adversity, may the people of Nepal find strength, courage and hope. We also pray for the safety and wellbeing of those involved in rescue and relief efforts.

Team Nigeria Kabaddi today, 23rd May 2026, continued its intensive training session at the Stephen Keshi Stadium with both the male and female teams demonstrating remarkable energy, commitment, and determination to excel in the fast-emerging sport in Nigeria.

The atmosphere at the training ground reflected the growing passion and enthusiasm for Kabaddi, as players showcased discipline, teamwork, resilience, and a strong desire to represent Nigeria proudly on the continental and global stage.

Beyond competition, Kabaddi presents enormous potential for positive youth engagement by creating opportunities for talent development, promoting healthy lifestyles, discouraging social vices, and inspiring unity among young people.
