EPLFA 2026 SEASON, WEEK 12 TABLE ANALYSIS

GROUP A

🥇 AG United FC lead Group A with 23 points, level with Adoration FC but ahead on goal difference.

🥈 Adoration FC are also on 23 points, making the race at the top very tight.

🔥 Royal Crown FC, MaxZubby FC and Royal Champion FC are all on 21 points. Just 2 points separate 2nd to 5th, so one result can completely change the standings.

⚽ Royal Champion FC have the best goal difference among the three teams on 21 points, with +12.

📉 Esthington FC sit 6th with 12 points, while Secretariat FC and Super Star FC occupy 7th and 8th with 6 and 5 points respectively.

GROUP B

👑 Geovanni FC remain the clear leaders with 26 points, 5 points ahead of Golden Boot FC.

🥈 Golden Boot FC sit 2nd with 21 points, while Police Machine FC are close behind with 20 points.

⚔️ AZ Stars FC occupy 4th place with 16 points.

🟢 Bioskodael FC have 14 points, followed by Green Revolution FC with 13 points.

📉 Rising Star FC have 11 points, while Akajiaku FC are bottom with 9 points.

🔥 OVERALL VERDICT

Group A: Extremely competitive, with only 2 points separating 2nd to 5th.

Group B: Geovanni FC have a comfortable lead, while the battle for the remaining top positions remains open.

⚽ Week 12 has set up a very interesting final phase of the season. Every point will matter.

The Ebonyi Premier League Football Association (EPLFA), today, 18th August 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the CEO of MaxZubby FC at his hometown in Igbagu, Indechi, Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The visit is in line with the vision of the League to promote and develop sports across Ebonyi State, while complementing the tremendous efforts already being made by the Governor of Ebonyi State in the development of the sports sector.

The League Executive Committee was warmly received by the CEO of MaxZubby FC with great hospitality. The CEO generously provided food and drinks for the visiting delegation, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere for the team.

During the visit, the CEO reaffirmed his commitment to supporting and promoting sports development in Ebonyi State through the efforts and programmes of the League.

The CEO and the EPLFA Executive Committee also shared meaningful ideas and a common vision on how to take sports development to the next level within Izzi Local Government Area, particularly through the activities and growth of MaxZubby FC.

The EPLFA appreciates the CEO of MaxZubby FC for his warm reception, generosity, commitment, and continued support for grassroots football development.

Together, we can build a stronger future for football and sports in Ebonyi State.

Today, the Ebonyi Premier League Football Association organized one of the biggest scouting exercises at the Abakaliki Township Stadium, bringing together talented players and teams from Abakaliki, Ezzamgbo, Onueke, Ishieke, Nkaliki and different communities across the metropolis.

It was a beautiful display of talent, passion, discipline, and determination. Our scouts carefully watched the players, and several talented players have been selected for the next stage.

To every player, parent, coach, team administrator, club, and scout who came out today, we sincerely appreciate you. Your presence and support made this scouting exercise a success.
