Supreme Kings Scouting Programme Continues as Abia Soccer Fest Talents Earn Opportunity to Shine
The Supreme Kings Scouting Programme continued on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba, with another round of competitive fixtures aimed at identifying promising football talents for future development opportunities.
A notable feature of the day's activities was the participation of two teams assembled by the Abia Soccer Fest (ASF) Technical Committee, comprising some of the standout performers from the recently concluded state tournament. Their inclusion provided a valuable platform for the players to further showcase their abilities before scouts and football stakeholders in attendance.
The programme continues to reflect the commitment of the Abia State Government under the leadership of Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti to youth empowerment through sports. Through the support of the Honourable Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Sir Nwaobilor Ananaba, initiatives such as this are creating pathways for talent identification, player development, and exposure to opportunities beyond the state.
Beyond the immediate objective of scouting, the programme serves as an extension of the state's broader sports development agenda, ensuring that exceptional talents discovered through grassroots competitions are not only identified but also provided with opportunities to progress within the game.
As the scouting exercise enters its concluding stages, attention remains focused on the emerging talents seeking to take the next step in their football careers.
