After weeks of practicing with my drone in preparation for whale season, today I finally captured my first humpback whales. 🐋✨

And what a first sighting it was… a mother with her newborn calf, only days old. The little one is glowing in the water with its beautiful ivory-white colour.

Newborn humpback calves often have a soft, pale colour, a beautiful contrast to their mothers. As they grow, their skin will gradually darken and develop the unique patterns they carry for life. 🤍

Waiting for the wind, more whales, and those magical kitesurf sessions alongside.

Little tips I always share on the beach:

If you stretch your legs (pic 1), you make it harder for the kite to lift you.
Stay compact (pic 2) and you’ll pop up way easier 🚀
