BECOMING – Day 25
My story his glory
The Legacy I Want to Leave
“A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children.” — Proverbs 13:22
When I think about legacy, I don’t think first about money, buildings or titles.
I think about people.
I want my children to inherit faith, courage, discipline, compassion and excellence.
I want the children who pass through Prestige to leave believing that they matter, that they can dream, and that they have a God-given purpose.
I want to raise leaders who will raise other leaders.
But there is another part of my legacy that is very close to my heart:
Women who became the best version of themselves because they met me.
Women who became more confident.
More courageous.
More disciplined.
More purposeful.
Women who discovered gifts they didn’t know they had.
Women who learned to lead.
And women who learned to pray.
This is one of the reasons I lead our daily Prayer Gym, where we wake up and pray together at 06:00 every morning. 🙏🏽
I don’t want women to depend on my prayers.
I want to teach them how to develop their own prayer lives and become women who know how to seek God for themselves.
If a woman met me and became more confident, more purposeful, more courageous—and more deeply connected to God, then I consider our meeting a blessing.
I don’t want people to become my copies.
I want them to become the best version of themselves.
I don’t need my name on everything.
I want my values in people.
My faith in people.
My courage in people.
My love for people.
Because legacy is not what we leave behind.
It is what we leave alive in others.
And I am building that legacy every day.
Reflection:
Who will be better because you lived?
Perhaps your greatest legacy will not be what you built, but who you helped become.
