The gong is more than just a musical instrument—it is an important part of Sabah’s Indigenous cultural heritage. Traditionally used by communities such as the Kadazandusun, Murut and Bajau, gongs play an important role in celebrations, ceremonies, welcoming guests and other cultural occasions.
