Be part of RIMBA UTMB®, our ongoing tree replanting initiative under UTMB® FOR THE PLANET, supporting the restoration and protection of Taiping’s natural landscapes 🌿

Runners can purchase a tree for RM50 + admin fees at the WEM Trail Running Club booth during Race Check-In.

The trails are for everyone. As we take on the 2026 Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB, let’s do our part to keep the trails safe, respectful and enjoyable for all 🌿

👋 Passing? Give a shout-out to runners ahead before overtaking.
🏃 Keep it safe: No pushing, shoving or aggressive overtaking.
🥾 Wear proper trail shoes suitable for the terrain.
🚩 Follow the markers: Never remove, move or ignore course markings.
↩️ Don’t cut switchbacks - they’re there to protect the trails and the environment.
🚫 Stay on course and follow all trail signs and event staff instructions.
💧 Take only what you need at aid stations and think of the runners behind you.
🌱 Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories. Protect the flora and fauna.
🚪 Close the gates behind you - leave them as you found them.
🏞️ Do not swim in the rivers or enter restricted areas.
🆘 Look out for one another: If you see an injured runner, stay with them if needed and seek help through the emergency number or event staff.
🎒 Safety is a collective responsibility: Follow all mandatory race requirements.
📢 If you decide to withdraw from the race, inform the nearest event staff or aid station crew. Do not simply leave the course. This helps us account for every runner and prevents valuable time being spent searching for someone who has already left the race.
👀 Follow all trail signage and event staff instructions.
💚 Safety is a collective responsibility. Look out for your fellow runners, respect the trails and help us protect the beautiful environment we get to race through.

Let’s respect the trails, look out for each other and leave Taiping’s beautiful landscapes just as we found them. 🌳
