Big news! THE CRanking, Camp5's soon-to-debut athlete ranking system is supported by the Malaysian Mountaineering Federation (PMM) and will be used as part of the National Selections for the Malaysian Climbing Team.

Thus, registration for THE CRANK Competition will be extended till the 11th September!

This first of it's kind competition will kickstart the Camp5 ranking system - The Cranking, which encompasses Male, Female, Lead and Boulder. It applies to Malaysian competitors only.

The ranking system is based on the IFSC Field Factor Ranking System. Athletes placed in the top 30 of their category in each competition will be allocated an official CRanking and a national ranking.

THE CRANK competition will be held at Camp5 1 Utama on October 1st & 2nd. Athletes will compete in a Qualification Round of 2 routes, the top 8 competitors in both the Male and Female Category will go through to the final on the 2nd October.

Location: Camp5 1 Utama
Dates: 1&2 October 2022
Entry Fee: RM120 per person
Nationalities: Open to all Nationalities (only Malaysians and residents for 4 years will be CRanked)
Registration Open: 12th July 2022
Registration Close: 11th September 2022

Most reliable way is to watch it on PlayTv app, then if you’re able to, cast to a larger screen. Or if you have an android TV, I hear you can download the app directly to that and play direct.

The Olympic Organising Committee looks at TV viewing numbers when deciding which sports to keep in The Games, let’s show our support.
