Adam has , a rare genetic condition that affects the development of his skull and bones.
He has flat feet and cannot fully bend some of his limbs the way most of us can.
Today was his very first attempt at rock climbing.
As always, we went in with no expectations of what he could or could not do.
We just went for the family fun.
And once again, he surprised us.
Not only did he try the bouldering wall, he also took on the 15-foot harnessed climb.
His first attempt fell short.
So he came down, took a breath, and went again.
This time, he rang the bell 🔔
Were we proud? Absolutely.
Over the years, Adam has taught us that children are often capable of far more than we imagine.
Sometimes, all they need is an opportunity, support & someone who believes in them.
Believe in your children.
They may not do things the way others do.
They may take a different path.
But they might just surprise you too ❤️
