Located in the tranquil greenery of Taman Pertanian Malaysia, Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam, Shah Alam, Selangor, the centre provides anglers with a natural fishing environment, yet so close and accessible within the Klang Valley
Set on approximately 4.5 hectare natural tropical park, the centre is divided into 2 zones, the upper dam and the lower dam. The upper dam is dedicated to fly fishing only whi
le the lower dam is opened to fly fishing and lure casting. The centre is consistently stocked with a variety of fresh water species which include sebarau, toman, jelawat, kelah, tarpon, rohu, pacu, haruan, tilipia and belida to provide a wide spectrum of fishing experience and satisfy anglers of all abilities, from the novice to the expert. In line with its conservation effort, the centre practices ‘catch and release’ and prohibits the use of live baits, barbed hooks and treble hooks. Our vision is to become a premier fly fishing and lure casting centre in Malaysia and one of the leaders in the region. In the areas of education and conservation, we hope to contribute towards creating and instilling awareness among the public in general and the anglers’ community in particular, on the importance of conserving the fresh water fish and maintaining a clean and safe environment for the species survival.
