The first known goggles used for swimming and diving were invented in Persia in the 14th Century. Originally made from polished tortoise shells (hence the transparency) and used by pearl divers, they remained popular for two centuries in the Middle East.

We watch one video mention about one swimmer splash water after done with the laps. Yes its refreshing coz our body feels like burning. We understand the feelings 😎
Coz of that we want to share fun facts about swimmer 🥰
Swimmers lose just as much sweat in the pool as any other athlete loses on land. There is, however, not enough research to tell us how much sweat swimmers actually lose in the water.

Fun fact!!

In 2015, at the age of 10, Alzain Tareq became the world’s youngest competitive swimmer in a World Championships. The Bahrainian girl competed against swimmers who were twice her age. She finished her 50-meter butterfly meet in 41.13 seconds.

Distance

Vs.

Speed

Distance leads to a large distance per stroke, but with a slower tempo. Speed leads to a smaller distance per stroke, but with a faster tempo.

How do you find the perfect mix of the two? Keyword: Balance.

Every swimmer wants to be the most efficient when they are in the water, which means they need to find the balancing point where their distance on each stroke is pretty good in combination with a fast tempo. You don’t want to spin and expel too much energy. Plus, you definitely don’t want to be last to finish either.

The four stroke pulls have many similarities but also distinct differences when programming their development. The short axis strokes, butterfly and breaststroke are driven with an undulating hip and bilateral pull. While the long axis strokes, backstroke and freestyle are driven through rotation and a unilateral arm pull. Resisted pulling using dryland cords is a great way to develop strength in these patterns, also providing immediate feedback on technique and position.
