Ladies, please teach your daughters that it's better to come home from a failed marriage than a coffin. Love your daughters and show them that they have a safe place to go, even after a fight. Refrain from shouting, hitting, calling them names, and hurting them. Hold your tongue before you blame them for their existence. Your daughters will have daughters of their own very soon, so all you can do is help to show the way.

And most importantly, teach them how to feed themselves, in ways as halal as possible, without depending on others. Teach them to stand tall and upright on their own feet. Teach them to speak up for themselves.

And love your sons all the same.
