Tioman Dive Buddy 对于 2026 年 7 月 19 日发生的潜水事故深感痛心，并再次向逝者致以最深切的哀悼，同时向家属表达诚挚的慰问。
目前，该事件仍由相关执法单位依法调查中。本中心始终积极配合有关当局的调查工作，并尊重调查程序及最终调查结果。在调查尚未完成之前，任何有关事故原因、责任归属或事件经过的揣测，均不应被视为事实。
然而，我们遗憾地发现，近期部分人士与媒体于网络平台及社交媒体发布、转载及传播未经证实的信息、失实言论及恶意指控，甚至刻意误导公众，对本中心、员工及相关人员的名誉造成严重影响，并对逝者家属及相关人士带来不必要的二次伤害。
Tioman Dive Buddy 在此郑重声明：
我们坚决反对任何形式的造谣、诽谤、恶意揣测及散播未经证实的信息。网络并非法外之地，任何人均须对其言论及行为承担相应法律责任。
对于任何继续发布、转载或传播不实内容，损害本中心、员工或相关人员名誉及合法权益的个人或单位，本中心已保留相关证据，并将依法追究其法律责任，包括但不限于民事赔偿及其他法律救济，以维护本中心及相关人员的合法权益。
我们呼吁社会大众尊重事实，尊重调查程序，停止传播未经证实的信息，共同维护健康、理性的网络环境，并给予逝者及家属应有的尊重与空间。
一切与本事件有关的信息，请以相关政府部门或执法单位公布的正式调查结果为准。

Official Statement by Tioman Dive Buddy
Tioman Dive Buddy is deeply saddened by the diving incident that occurred on 19 July 2026. We extend our deepest condolences to the deceased and our heartfelt sympathies to the family during this difficult time.
The incident is currently under official investigation by the relevant authorities. Our dive centre has been fully cooperating with the investigation and respects the due process as well as the final outcome of the authorities’ findings. Until the investigation has been concluded, any speculation regarding the cause of the incident, allocation of responsibility, or the sequence of events should not be regarded as factual.
It has come to our attention that certain individuals and media have recently published, reposted, and circulated unverified information, false statements, and malicious allegations across various online platforms and social media. Such actions have caused serious harm to the reputation of our dive centre, our staff, and the individuals concerned, while also inflicting unnecessary secondary distress upon the deceased’s family and those affected.
Tioman Dive Buddy hereby issues the following statement:
We strongly condemn any form of rumour-mongering, defamation, malicious speculation, or the dissemination of unverified information. The internet is not beyond the reach of the law, and every individual is legally accountable for the content they publish or share.
Any individual or entity who continues to publish, repost, or disseminate false or misleading information that damages the reputation or lawful interests of Tioman Dive Buddy, our staff, or any related parties may be held legally accountable. We have preserved all relevant evidence and reserve all rights to pursue appropriate legal action, including but not limited to civil claims and any other legal remedies available under applicable law, in order to protect our legitimate rights and interests.
We respectfully urge the public to respect the facts, allow the authorities to complete their investigation, refrain from spreading unverified information, and help maintain a responsible and respectful online environment. We also ask everyone to respect the privacy and dignity of the deceased and the family during this difficult time.
Any information relating to this incident should be based solely on the official findings and announcements issued by the relevant government authorities and investigating agencies.
