In the Taekwondo power test, there are three distinct types: static ex*****on, body-rotation ex*****on, and jumping acrobatic ex*****on. For the black belt promotion test, candidates may choose any one of these options according to their ability.

I’m truly honored to be Simon’s personal trainer. I take my hat off to him as a septuagenarian who not only attends my Hapkido classes with enthusiasm but has also taken an interest in fitness training and learning Wing Chun.

We meet two to three times a week for morning weight training. His doctor has even commented on how impressive his health and physical condition are. As his trainer, I don’t just guide him through the exercises, I work out right alongside him.

After each session, we head to 金满满 for a bowl of fish ball noodles and a cup of coffee without sugar, accompanied by two half-boiled eggs. During breakfast, we often share stories from our childhood.

I told him how I used to aim for the hens my late mother raised, eagerly collecting and eating the eggs right after they were laid. He shared how he would enjoy freshly laid eggs with a bit of lard and warm rice and how delicious it was.

Life isn’t just about living long, it’s about staying functional. So we work out while we still can.

It's a Kyorugi (sparring) Friendly Match between Wenwu Club and Hana Training Academy, held at SJKC Kepong 1. With approximately 80 participants, it's a sizable event designed for exposure and experience.

Ending with "a good meal" is the ideal way to cap off the experience. After an hour of watching intense matches, feeling the adrenaline by proxy, and soaking in the community vibes, a satisfying meal allows to relax and reflect.
