The purpose of "Pressure Test" Open Sparring is to enhances adaptability and technique while fostering camaraderie and respect. Sparring with different martial artists builds friendships through shared challenges, encouraging collaboration and strengthening bonds within the martial arts community.
*⚔️ Open Weapon Sparring Formats. ⚔️*
1. *One Point System*
Each clean strike scores 1 point. After a successful hit, both participants reset before continuing.
2. *Three Beat Point System*
Each exchange is limited to a maximum of 3 strikes/beats before reset. Strikes may be alternating or one-sided. Based on the concept of offence → counter → re-counter.
3. *Free-Style Sparring*
Participants may use any training weapon with fewer restrictions, allowing continuous striking and freer movement. *Recommended for experienced participants only.
4. *Knife Sparring (Training/Form Knife)*
Focuses on pressure, timing, control, and reaction during knife engagement. Includes:
Knife vs Knife
Empty Hand vs Knife
*Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times to reduce risk of injury.

Please bring your own head cover and hand glove to minimize sweat and avoid contamination on shared equipment.
You may bring your own equipment stated above and any extra protection such as padded arm guards, shin guards, or vest protectors for added safety and comfort.
**Please Note:** Engaging in an open sparring event requires mutual consent from both parties. Participants must respect each other's boundaries and exercise caution during the match. Safety is our top priority, and all measures are taken to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
