First grab on handle..... Definitely need an overgrip over ori handle grip to make it a full 'grab' . Else, kinda thin and small for asian me. Side edge smooth and edge guard friendly. Kinda like the stripe line at edge..... Looks good from far.
is the foam type with epp foam on molded groove channels. That gives u effortless power drive delivery. Less poppy than the Boom with a low muted pop (more base, less treble). Takes some getting use to if u r a boom user. I still like the boom pop music....so 'encouraging' & 'threatening'. 16mm gives u more head heavy drive swing but the 14mm gives a more controlled drive bang. Both needs a 70% power ya. Else, again..... rooftop here I come. (guess tennis players will like this: strong arm take the 16mm, less muscular arm can take the 14mm) . Dinking is a breeze and effortless but speedup needs some work. Mid court volley needs strong arm. Not fast but gets the job done.....
is with honeycomb core + epp sides to absorb vibration (there r still many older gen-core fans). Needs more effort in delivering power to the ball. A control paddle.....means good for defense against crazy bangers. Dinking needs a full follow thru for a crisp return. I like this bcos I can go full power on my drive (whack 99% power).... Very forgiving and won't go rooftop visiting. Then again, very bad for my tennis elbow. Now still on ice pack as we speak. Some may not like this not-so 'propulsion' paddle if they crave power, some may like it because it's an anti-banger weapon. Your money, your choice. Buy both to solve your indecision. But if already a yula pro5 owner, can save money and instead buy a boom or J2cr J6cr or Tuff GnF foamtec . Your call.
Tested on elongated only. I don't like fat boy widebody. Don't ask Y. Just me when I said I like durian and I dunno Y.
