As with most journeys , the road to self discovery and realising my passion and dreams were long and winding , I left my cushy job as a Assistant lecturer at the University of Malaya to realise my dream of opening my own fitness Studio and in the course of this transforming thousands of lives through health , fitness and Wellness . Being Mrs . Malaysia Universe has also enabled her to inspire women all over the country that a woman is capable of achieving anything as long as she puts her heart and soul into it and to smash the stereotypes that queens have to be soft and feminine but instead the new woman of the 21 st century is strong , beauty , confident , passionate and compassionate.

Fitness in Malaysia is primarily a male dominated industry , being a female boss was not easy in the beginning but she persevered and ultimately earned by respect

All women deserve to be valued , loved and honoured and to have self worth . No woman should be denied access to education ,or face gender discrimination be it home or at the workplace . Am empowered woman has a voice , is not subjugated or controlled emotional or physically by those around her bc of strength disparity . Equal pay , equal opportunity and the freedom to dress and move freely without fear or r**e or backlash . We need to teach the world that they do not need to fear an empowered woman and the only way we can achieve this is by education , be example and by teaching . Thank you
