To the Esteemed Members of the Sancturian Council,

In recognition of your recent actions in bringing an end to the traitor known as Saint Everflame, the Tuscan Empire formally announces that Sanctuary has been chosen as the site of the first Inter-Armis Peace Summit.

Representatives from the great empires, kingdoms, and factions of Armis shall gather upon your island for this historic occasion, with the shared purpose of pursuing dialogue, stability, and the possibility of lasting peace between peoples long divided by conflict.

The Summit shall commence two moons from the receipt of this letter.

This arrangement is not subject to negotiation. As such, it is advised that Sanctuary make the necessary preparations to host not only representatives of the Tuscan Empire, but also the delegations of the many factions expected to attend.

The Empire can confirm the attendance of the following parties:

The Tuscan Empire
Following extensive petitioning and internal deliberation, the Empire’s delegation shall arrive from Bulgaris under the leadership of Inquisitor Amberely Veil.

Representatives of Lun Kao of the He Guo Nation
The Dai Family has acknowledged prior contact between Sanctuary and He Guo interests. Their representatives seek to foster stronger diplomatic and economic ties between your peoples.

The Cottontail League
Members of the League have likewise shown interest in developing relations with Sanctuary, citing your mutual commitment to neutrality, cooperation, and peace.

Beyond those named above, the Empire decrees that all who sincerely seek peace shall be permitted to attend and participate in this Summit, regardless of factional size, political standing, or former allegiances.
Let this gathering stand as the first step toward a new era for Armis.

Ever wanted to jump into a LARP battle but weren’t sure how the fighting works? This workshop will teach the basics of safe, fun LARP combat so you can step onto the battlefield with confidence.

We’ll cover the fundamentals of how LARP combat works, how to fight safely, and how to work with others to create exciting battle scenes.

What we’ll go through:
• Basic LARP combat rules and safety
• How to swing and block safely
• Simple attack and defense techniques
• Coordinated fighting with other players

Perfect for new players, but also useful if you want to refresh your skills before the next big battle. This workshop is especially important for NPCs who are coming to Adventures in the Maelstrom: Exterminatus.

Maelstrom Firesides are a chill live action roleplaying experience where you play as your original character taking some time to be at the Merrowsong Tavern of Sanctuary.

There you may plan for your upcoming adventures, chat with the friendly townsfolk or just vibe in the corner and enjoy the living world of the Maelstrom.

Firesides are one of the best ways for a newbie to get into the hobby of LARPing as it is relatively rules light given that there's no combat, trading or skills being used. Just good ol social interactions.

It's also super low stakes as there would be no major plot beats happening during these events. Though there may be occasionally some teasers for upcoming events.

April is looking pretty stacked y'all! We are starting the month strong as our friendly folks at Crucible Conflicts are organizing a night of foam-based violence fun on the 4th. Then, we will have the Maelstrom Firesides: Meeting of the Minds, chill roleplaying session set in Sanctuary's Tavern, on the 11th. Then, a week after that, on the 18th, we will be sieging the Tuscan stronghold of Emberhold in Adventures in the Maelstrom: Exterminatus.

Exterminatus is extra exciting as what happens in Exterminatus will impact the upcoming multi-day LARP event quite significantly. How so? Find out soon 😉
