The Sn**ch PR lift at the comp in super slow motion. 85 kg (+2.5 kg PR) @ 78 kg BW.

It was my first time hitting a new all-time PR at a comp, and also first time successfully hitting 3 out of 3 attempts.

Weighed in at 78.1kg after light brunch. This was the lightest I've ever been for a comp.

Clean & Jerk
🔴 100kg (pressout)
⚪️ 100kg (1 red flag)
🔴 106kg (comp PR attempt, clean fail)

Masters Sinclair : 255.030
Final Placing : 4th / 21 (I think...?)

First time hitting a 3/3, and first time hitting a new all-time PR in a comp! It was my best Sn**ch performance, but the worst for C&J 😅 An okay-tradeoff, I guess...

This year's Masters category was so stacked! It was an honour sharing the platform with an active national lifter, gym owner/comp organiser, athletes from HK and SG, and other more experienced lifters! 🙏

Yet again, I had neither a coach nor a handler. Without any supporter, too, this time. But as always, I appreciate all the cheering from the spectators and other lifters! That really gave me the extra boost. This community is awesome! Thank you so much! 🫶

I need to eventually figure out why my C&J is getting worse. Did I overprioritise on improving my sn**ch in training? Was it 'cause I cut too much weight too quickly? I didn't squat enough to retain strength and conditioning? Or was it just my jerk technique?

Will analyse and self-reflect later. Now is the time to regain loss muscles and get jacked again! VILLAIN ARC II: HOLIDAY SEASON EDITION 💪

I don't usually post photos like this but damn, I kinda really appreciate how much more ripped I look now topless after a workout. Though the tradeoff is that I look a lot smaller now with any shirt on 😅

BW today: 77.9kg - a bit too light for a comp category that doesn't have weightclasses... hope that won't affect my strength too much.
