Tok Labu Panthers Basketball Club Tok Labu Panthers is the official basketball team of SMK Permatang Tok Labu, Penaga, Pulau Pinang. RESPECT ALL, FEAR NONE.

Tok Labu Panthers is a newly formed basketball team from SMK Permatang Tok Labu, Penaga. The Tok Labu Panthers Basketball Club started somewhat by accident when the current teacher-in-charge bought a RM45 ball from TESCO to practice shooting at the under utilised basketball court at the school back in 2013. No one every played basketball because the students were under the misconception that baske

tball was a Chinese sport. In 2014, we started a basketball club with over 50 registered members. However, we only have an active membership of an average of 15-20 members a week. For more information:

Yesterday, the Panthers had the opportunity to brush up their basic basketball skills with the California Baptist University basketball team.

Not only did the Panthers learn new basketball skills, they had to communicate in English with the American team!

It was great fun for the Panthers. At the end of the day, they asked me if there was going to be anymore Americans coming to play with them...

Good news!! We have reached RM3000! A huge thank you to all those who have contributed so far. We finally have enough money to rent a bus to KL and back. But we need more help to ensure that our Panthers have a place to stay for two nights in KL and enough food to fill their bellies.

Help to spread the word! Help to put a roof over our head! Help to contribute! No contribution is TOO SMALL or TOO BIG!

Meet our girls! These girls have only been playing basketball since last year. They've managed to beat a prominent school in last year's 1Murid1Sukan 3 on 3 Basketball tournament and bagged medals for third place. It was also the first time our school won medals for a basketball competition.

Since then, they've been really committed in preparing themselves for their first tournament and brought more girls to join them on the basketball court!
