Piasau Boat Club Multisports

Piasau Boat Club Multisports This Group is for all folks interested in participating or watching a wide range of sports in and around Miri but in particular the Piasau Boat Club.

This FB Group started life as the FB site for the 2010 Piasau Boat Club Beach Triathlon. The first PBC Triathlon was held in 1993 at the Piasau Boat Club in Miri, Malaysia. It is a unique beach triathlon: 1km sea swim, 29km cycle and 7.5km run split between tarmac road and sandy beach. It an annual event, usually in November. It has evolved into a site that now hosts general information, pictures

and comments related to other sport events taking place at the Piasau Boat Club and around Miri in general.

Hi all! Please be aware that there will be a temporary closure of the foot/cycle path in the ex-Piasau Camp from 2 Aug - 30 Oct 2015. This is denoted by the Purple box in the picture here. We recommend avoiding the area in order to stay safe!

The next time trials will be on the following dates:
- TT3: 22 July
- TT4: 26 Aug
- TT5: 30 Sept
- TT6: 28 Oct
- TT7: 25 Nov
- TT8: 23 Dec

Hi all, I hope you have been training hard because the second PBC Sarawak Sandflies Time Trial will be happening tomorrow Wednesday 23 June 2015 at PBC!
Registration is at 5.15pm and we start sharp at 5.45pm.

We are also looking for people to help volunteer for timekeeping and manning the checkpoints. If you would like to help, please text Guillermo at 011-2511-7891.
