In case you missed it earlier this year, one of the biggest updates in the diving world: HEAD, the company behind Mares and SSI, officially acquired the Aqualung Group.

The Aqualung Group includes well-known brands like Aqualung, Apeks, Aquasphere, Omer, and Pelagic Pressure Systems, names trusted by divers for decades for their quality and performance.

HEAD has already shown strong results in the diving world.
Mares has grown into a global success story,
and SSI’s digital expansion has helped standardize and simplify diving education worldwide.

Unlike financial firms that focus only on short-term results, HEAD is a sports company, they understand performance, innovation, and what divers want because they’ve done it before.

With this move, some of the most respected scuba brands in equipment and training now come under one umbrella.
