Extending My 36 hours Fast๐Ÿ•

A couple of hours ago I posted about my 36-hour fast on my profile, but I'm now at 37 hours and feeling such great benefits that I've decided to keep going!

What I'm experiencing right now:
โœจ Really clear thinking - my focus is so much better
โœจ Steady energy without any crashes
โœจ No hunger at all (it just went away!)
โœจ Feeling mentally strong - like I can handle anything
โœจ Everything tastes better already - even water
โœจ Feeling calm and centered

What's happening in my body:
๐Ÿ”ฅ Burning stored fat for energy
๐Ÿ”„ Cellular cleanup and renewal happening
๐Ÿ“ˆ Growth hormone increasing
๐Ÿง  Brain using ketones for fuel
๐Ÿ’ช Getting better at switching between energy sources

When I break this fast, I'll follow the Fast Like A Girl steps to get the most benefits and transition back to eating smoothly.

This is making me more confident about working toward a 72-hour fast eventually (which should NEVER be done without proper preparation or coaching/medical supervision!).

To all my friends asking if I've become a hermit and wondering where I've disappeared to latelyโ€”this post is for you!

I'm in the final stretch of becoming a "Fast Like A Girl" certified coach under Dr. Mindy Pelz! ๐ŸŽ‰

What my journey has looked like so far:

โœ… Dedicating 4-8 hours daily to intensive study ....waking up early... going to bed late

โœ… Testing various fasting protocols on myself

โœ… Just completed a 24-hour fast and experiencing incredible mental clarity & energy I haven't felt in ages! I studied all day without a single energy slumpโ€”mind-blowing!

Culinary medicine blends the art of cooking with the science of medicine. Itโ€™s about using food as medicine to help treat chronic conditions, maintain optimal health, and improve well-being.

By combining nutrition with cooking skills, culinary medicine creates meals that not only taste great but also promote healing.

**Why am I studying it?**

Iโ€™ve always believed that food is at the core of our health โ€“ or lack of it.

My passion for health, nutrition, and the science behind human behavior, living healthier and helping others led me to pursue something that combines all the above; Culinary Medicine.

I'm excited to become a Culinary Medicine Specialist - one of the very first batch in Malaysia-, and learn how to integrate this knowledge into my health coaching practice .

I have experienced that all of my previous coaching clients had some kind of health and weight challenges.....no matter what the coaching goals were , the helath goal always popped up at one pound

Even for those without specific problems, thereโ€™s always the 'next level' in health!

Recently, I took part in a 4 days hands-on practical at UCSi in Kuala Lumpur as part of my long-term online studies.

No more excuses, it's time for action! ๐Ÿš€

Are you tired of hearing people make excuses like being too old, too tired, or too busy to pursue their dreams?

Or by any chanceโ€ฆare you one of those? ๐Ÿค”

It's time to break free from the chains of limitations and embrace the possibilities.

Most of us limit ourselves in so many areas of our lives.

Let's start with health and fitness... (I will talk about others another time ๐Ÿ˜Š)
Take one of my own examples, for instance โ€“ I had never run more than 100 meters until I hit 40.

But guess what?

I started building up 100 meters by 100 meters till I ran a couple of half marathons.

Then life, pandemic, excuses... (and other activities ๐Ÿ˜…) got in the way, and I stopped.

Fast forward to my 50sโ€ฆ

Recently, I decided to pick up running again.

Today, I just conquered 9 km.

It's never too late to restart, reinvent, and redefine your journey.

To get back to fitโ€ฆ to take back control of your weightโ€ฆ your fitnessโ€ฆ your health...... ๐Ÿ’ช

As someone once said, "The only limits that exist are the ones you place on yourself." So, let's ditch the excuses and make things happen.

Join me on this journey of breaking our own barriers and achieving the seemingly impossible.
