Today, our team brought home Third Place in Future Innovator and Third Place in RoboMission Junior at the National Robotic Competition 2026 Sarawak State Level.

Although we didn’t achieve the target we set for ourselves this year, every challenge has been a valuable lesson.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited about what’s ahead.

This is not the end it’s another step in our journey. We’ll take this experience, learn from it, set new objectives, and come back stronger than ever next year.

Today, the Future Innovators team proudly presents our innovation at the National Robotics Competition Sarawak State Level 2026 in Sibu.

Introducing The Heritage Guardian, robot designed to monitor cultural heritage sites, detect potential threats, and help protect these precious landmarks through early detection and continuous monitoring.

After months of designing, building, programming, and testing, we are excited to showcase our innovation and share our vision of using robotics to preserve our cultural heritage.

The SK Petra Jaya Robotic Team received a sponsorship of LEGO Education SPIKE Expansion Sets from XFAB Sarawak at the company’s office in Silicon Drive, Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone earlier today.

This contribution will further support the development of robotics activities and STEM learning opportunities for the students of SK Petra Jaya. The additional equipment will provide more hands-on learning experiences and help students strengthen their creativity, problem-solving and teamwork skills through robotics education.

Tahniah kepada pasukan Robotik SK Petra Jaya atas penyertaan sulung dalam Robot Battle Challenge, Karnival STEM Peringkat Negeri Sarawak 2026 yang bertempat di Politeknik Kuching.

Penyertaan kali ini bertujuan untuk menimba pengalaman, meningkatkan kemahiran serta memberi pendedahan kepada murid-murid dalam suasana pertandingan robotik yang kompetitif.

Syabas diucapkan kepada Niyaz Hasif bin Mohd Shahrizan dan Ahmad Hadi Muizzuddin bin Ahmad Nizam atas komitmen dan kesungguhan yang ditunjukkan sepanjang pertandingan.

Semoga pengalaman yang diperoleh menjadi bekalan berharga untuk menghadapi cabaran yang lebih besar pada masa akan datang.

One week has passed since our participation in the Borneo International Robot Tournament. As our school’s first participation in an international-level robotics tournament, the event gave valuable exposure and experience to the students.

Team SK Petra Jaya reached the Top 16 round out of 48 teams after recording 4 wins and 1 loss in the group stage, including a win against a team from South Korea. Although our journey ended in the Top 16, it was still a meaningful start for SK Petra Jaya Robotic.

We would also like to thank all our sponsors for the support throughout this journey and we believe this experience will become good preparation and exposure for our students ahead of the upcoming NRC Sarawak State Level competition. See you guys soon at NRC Sarawak State Level!

Today, we made our first start and first participation in the Borneo International Robot Tournament (Borneo-IRT) at Meritz Hotel, Miri. After weeks of preparation, tuning and testing, Team SK Petra Jaya finally begins its journey in this year’s competition.

We wish our team the very best throughout the tournament and hope this experience will become a valuable learning journey for everyone involved.
