We bid a heartfelt farewell to five bright young members of SK Petra Jaya Robotic. Three of them are moving on to further their studies in secondary school, while two will be continuing their journey at other schools.

Tahniah diucapkan kepada Pasukan Robotik SK Petra Jaya atas pengiktirafan oleh pihak sekolah susulan pencapaian dalam National Robotic Competition 2025 peringkat Negeri Sarawak yang telah berlangsung di Miri, Sarawak pada bulan july yang lalu.

Dalam pertandingan tersebut, Pasukan Future Innovator berjaya meraih Pingat Perak, manakala Pasukan Robomission - Rookie memperoleh Pingat Gangsa, daripada penyertaan 29 buah sekolah yang bertanding.

Pencapaian ini menjadi satu motivasi kepada murid-murid untuk terus aktif dan berusaha dalam bidang kokurikulum, khususnya robotik. Tahniah dan selamat maju jaya dalam usaha membina bakat dan inovasi pada masa akan datang.

Yesterday, the SK Petra Jaya Robotic Team welcomed our guests from Brunei Darussalam for the Kunjungan Dalam Program Immersi Sekolah dari Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah Negara Brunei Darussalam. It turned into a fun, cross-country session as both teams explored our rovers and shared ideas, experiences, and a little friendly play between two nations.

Here is our rover in action during the Kunjungan Dalam Program Imersi Sekolah dari Jabatan Sekolah-Sekolah Negara Brunei Darussalam ke SK Petra Jaya yesterday.

Our rover is equipped with a robotic arm, Bluetooth-controlled, and powered by a total of four EV3 bricks working together.

A huge round of applause to the Sarawak contingent for emerging as the Overall Champion at the National Robotics Competition NATIONAL LEVEL (NRC) 2025, which concluded today at MMC Cyberjaya, Selangor.

With an outstanding achievement of 3 Golds and 3 Silvers, Sarawak stood tall among 16 contingents representing all states and federal territories across Malaysia.

Congratulations as well to all the winners who have earned the honour to represent Malaysia at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in Singapore this coming November.

Today, we proudly took part in the Karnival Project-Based Learning 2025 PPD Padawan held at Politeknik Kuching. The hands-on robotic workshop provided our participants and students with practical experience, valuable skills, and new perspectives in the world of robotics. It was a platform where creativity met innovation, and ideas came to life through learning by doing.

This is only the beginning, as more engaging activities are planned to further enrich our students with knowledge, exposure, and real-world skills that will prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

Our team has officially sent out our performance and appreciation report to all sponsors who supported us throughout the our journey and National Robotic Competition (NRC) Sarawak State Level 2025.

As part of our usual practice since last year, the SK Petra Jaya Robotic Team sends out appreciation letters and performance reports to our sponsors after each National Robotic Competition (NRC).

The main objective is to maintain a strong and positive relationship with our sponsors, while ensuring two-way communication is sustained. This relationship is vital in securing continuous support and long-term collaboration—especially as we strive to improve and achieve greater success in the future.

These performance reports also serve as a reality check for the team: Have we met the goals set out in this year’s blueprint and strategic plan?

Alhamdulillah, this year’s results exceeded our original targets. We aimed to be in the top three at the state level in every category we participated in—and we achieved just that.

Next year, our goal is even more ambitious. We are on a mission to qualify for the national level—and we are determined to make it happen.

Our journey doesn’t end with NRC. There are still many competitions, exhibitions, mini projects, and high-impact activities lined up for the rest of the year.

With the continued support from all parties, we believe that even greater achievements are within our reach, insha-Allah.
