🏏 Courtesy Visit Inspires Sarawak SUKMA XXII Cricket Contingent

The Sarawak Cricket Association was honoured to welcome ACDM YB Kennedy Chukpai Ugon to the Borneo Cricket Ground on 31st July 2026, where he paid a courtesy visit to the Sarawak SUKMA XXII Cricket Contingent.

During his visit, YB Kennedy took the opportunity to meet the players and coaching staff, offering words of encouragement and moral support as they continue their preparations for the upcoming SUKMA Games. He reminded the athletes to remain disciplined, give their very best on the field, and proudly represent the State of Sarawak with determination, unity and sportsmanship.

The visit served as a tremendous boost to the team's morale and reflected the continuous support from the State leadership towards the development of cricket and high-performance sports in Sarawak.

BORNEO INVITATIONAL CRICKET CLUB CUP 2026

21st – 25th July 2026
Venue: Borneo Cricket Ground, Kuching, Sarawak

The Borneo Invitational Cricket Club Cup 2026 concluded successfully after five days of exciting and competitive cricket, bringing together some of the region's emerging club talents at the Borneo Cricket Ground in Kuching, Sarawak.

Throughout the tournament, spectators were treated to thrilling contests, outstanding individual performances, and displays of exceptional teamwork. Every match reflected the growing standard of club cricket in Sarawak, with both participating teams demonstrating determination, resilience, and excellent sportsmanship.

The tournament reached an unforgettable climax on the final day, as the championship match between SCA Colt's and Sarawak Gladiators Squad ended in a dramatic tie, requiring a Super Over to determine the champions. In a tense finish, SCA Colt's held their nerve to emerge victorious, securing the title of Borneo Invitational Cricket Club Cup 2026 Champions.
