After the first bitter sweet

❤️❤️Dear Beloved Friends, Gymnasts, Parents & Associates

As part of our continuous effort to provide excellent services and achievements, we are pleased to announce that with effective 1st September 2016, Sarawak Gymnastic Recreational Program will be officially handed over to the Sarawak Amateur Gymnastics Association. Nonetheless, Star RG(TAY) will continue its success by focusing its core business in Rhythmic gymnastics & dance, event specialisation, workshops, choreography services, personal development and talent management.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all our friends, coaches, fellow gymnasts, parents and all that have gone through the journey of 4 years with us in developing, building and assisting the Sarawak Gymnastic Recreational Program. Back then in 2012, we started with only 8 gymnasts. Today, the program is running on more than 90 gymnasts and we continue to anticipate more to come.

It was never an easy journey but the excellent success and achievements worth every single effort that we have put in.

Thanks for bringing the best friendship into the journey. We will never forget every moment of tears and laughter we had together.

We are truly confident that the Sarawak Amateur Gymnastics Association is able to continue the success and bring Sarawak Gymnastic Recreational Program to the next level. We look forward to having many more exciting collaboration in future.

We wish Sarawak Gymnastics continued success and all the best to you all!

Our heartfelt congratulations to Sarah,Emilie,Toh Xian Yong,Scarlett,Bonnie & Alaena for the great achievement in the Zhongling Cup 2016, Beijing. They grabbed 1st placing in Group Exercise Hoop and Freehand event, and overall 2nd placing in the team all-around. For Individual event, Emilie won 2nd placing in ball event while Sarah won 2nd placing in rope routine. Sarah also won herself a 'Best Body Shape' awards in the competition.

It was such a marvelous experience for the girls to compete against gymnasts from various countries and a great experience watching the gala performance by Olympian such as Alina Maksymenko and Anna Gavrilenko. Not forgetting the opportunity to meet great people in person like Zhong Ling, the Asian Games Champion, Coach Alla Mishenina.

To all our beloved rhythmic gymnastic coaches, judges and gymnasts, who participated in the 2016 Sukma, we thank you for your efforts and outstanding turn out at this first rhythmic gymnastic event held in Sarawak.

We also thank all who helped in one way or another to make this event a successful one, namely the Sarawak Gynmastic Asso., who put in all the ground works, and parents, junior gymnasts, friends, family, ex-coaches and ex-gymnasts, students from St Joseph Private Sch. who all came to support us and cheered for us at the event.

We are touched and grateful for all your help and encouragement which proves that together we can achieve great things.

Our deepest thanks and congratulations to the RG coaches of Sarawak who have trained and guided our young gymnasts to such high level to be eligible for this year's Sukma competition. Their positive encouragement and total dedication to our budding gymnasts will be key to future successes.

Lastly our heartfelt congratulations to the young gymnasts who have worked and trained so hard for this event. Their tremendous efforts not only earned them a place in Sukma but Emelie Nara Jabu also garnered a bronze for Sarawak in the individual clubs routine. Well done!!

To Emelie Jabu, Sarah Ng, Bonnie Tay, Angelina Teo, Rachel Wang and all the young aspiring gymnasts of Sarawak, continue to reach for the stars! Make Sarawak proud.
