In this video, you will look at 3 different Kitesurfing Self Rescue techniques. Hope you enjoy and learn something when you happen to need self-rescue during kitesurfing.

Thank this guy for actually tangling up his lines for us 3 times to show us how to self-rescue in 3 different scenarios.

1. Close to the shore rescue
2. Use your kite to sail back to shore
3. Avoid kite line entanglement to seaweed, waves, or coral, and use your kite to sail back to shore

We share this video for those who want to learn on how to kitesurfing with us. This video will go through with you on how to self-launch a kite, a simple way to launch kite by yourself most of the time. This method is fast and relatively uncomplicated, much like launching a kite when someone is holding it for you.

It start by setting up the kite in a nice, clear area, prepare to move into the launch position, and steer the kite up into the air, all by ourselves!

We will go through:

- The steps for how to do a self-launch,
- 3 tips for self-launching this way
- A real-time example of how I self-launch this way so you can see how it happens in the real world (without all the explaining)

Self launching a kite is a great skill to have to become an independent kiter. Hope this video helps you get on the water more and sooner! Have fun!

It’s a gorgeous sunny day on an idyllic tropical beach in the South China Sea. You’re on a kitesurfing board tearing along in a 20-knot on-shore breeze from South West Wind over a blue sea fringed by crystal clear water.

It's an ideal wind condition to learn kiteboarding now. This is the current sea and wind condition in Kudat. A lot of fun happening in the kite school with customers of all levels coming to learn kiteboarding in Kudat.
