This is a true bucket-list dive expedition to one of the most remote and least-visited dive destinations on the planet.
Timor-Leste isn’t easy to reach — and that’s exactly why it’s so special. Very few divers can say they’ve been here.

You’ll dive untouched, wildly biodiverse reefs and enter the ocean during peak whale migration season, when the giants pass through deep blue waters just offshore. This is raw, remote, expedition-style diving at its best.

Not many places like this still exist. Even fewer are accessible to divers.

This year, we’re offering AIDA Freediving courses & recreational at Matahari Dive Centre, taught right from the beach in warm, crystal-clear waters.

✨ Courses available:
• AIDA 1 – your first step into freediving
• AIDA 2 – build confidence, depth & technique

Whether you’re brand new or ready to level up, our courses focus on safety, proper technique, relaxation, and ocean connection — all in a fun, supportive environment.
