Due to a rise in fraudulent and fake certificates being sent claiming outstanding achievements, including AI-generated identities and certificates, SKDIA is now implementing additional verification steps for all new memberships. All applicants will be required to attend a video call or in-person meeting to ensure authenticity.
We have always maintained strict application standards and this process will help us uphold the integrity and legitimacy of SKDIA while remaining free from political influence.
Please note that any new membership applications may take approximately 2-3 months for processing and approval! Thank you for your understanding and commitment to maintaining the integrity of our organization.

As an independent organization, SKDIA focuses on authentic Shotokan Karate, free from politics, allowing members the flexibility to maintain affiliations with other organizations if desired.

■ Dojo Name
■ Current Rank and Rank Certificate
■ A video demonstrating your performance of one Heian Kata and one Sentei Kata
■ Names of any other organizations of which you are a member
Please NOTE we choose our members carefully and will not accept any fake our counterfeit certificates. We go through everything to ensure the karateka of SKDIA are legitimate!
