[Total Solar Eclipse 2026]
This special Total Solar Eclipse will happen on 12th August night - 00:50am to 2:30am 13th August (Malaysia/Singapore time).
🌑 Areas where visible to the total eclipse -
Spain, Iceland and part of Greenland
🌒 Areas where visible to partial eclipse - Europe, North in Asia, North/West Africa, Much of North America, Pacific, Atlantic, Arctic.
To all stargazers, this eclipse is magnificent as it happens when six planets align — Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune — and coincides with the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, making it a phenomenon not to be missed.

However, from a Chinese Metaphysics perspective, it is advisable to stay indoors and avoid watching the eclipse.
Yes, those of us in Malaysia and Singapore won’t be able to physically see this solar eclipse. But remember, the energy is there globally. What happens on the other side of the world can affect us too.
One more thing: according to Chinese religious beliefs, the Ghost Gate is also said to open around midnight on 13 August, marking the beginning of the 👻 Ghost Month.
Therefore, I strongly recommend that you stay home.
If you have experience with meditation, take 10–15 minutes to meditate anytime between 11:30 PM on 12 August and 1:00 AM on 13 August. Or simply sit quietly for a moment and allow yourself to be still.
The eclipse can be a powerful time for self-reflection, clearing blockages, and seeking greater clarity within ourselves.
Sometimes, we don’t need to do anything.
We simply need to pause, be still, and listen.
