Join us for a GOBIK social ride on Saturday 01 August. Roll-out from The Bike Artisans at Elmina Lakeside Mall, parking plenty inside Mall at RM3 for 3 hours. We will also preview the new GOBIK CUSTOM collection and you can start from as low as 5x jerseys onwards. Post-ride food and drinks will be served.

We have two distances; 40 km easy ride for those haven’t ridden in months or years, and 80 km for those who love some distance, and torture. So choose your ride, register and just enjoy. GO-BIK or go home!

Weaving success in the heart of Spain: How GOBIK went from humble beginnings to the WorldTour Cycling Stage.

GOBIK is now at The Bike Artisans. GOBIK is the current sponsor of Movistar and NetCompany INEOS Cycling Team. Each jersey and bib shorts is made in Spain, in the town of Yecla. A town where the trades connected with craftsmanship, skilled hands and hard labour thrive. Started 15 years ago, GOBIK has now become an internationally known brand in the world of cycling. Product development is done in-house, each cut of the apparel is modified for gains and improvements. Team INEOS pioneered the ‘marginal-gains concept’ and GOBIK uses this to inspire the performance metrics of each design. Clothing in cycling is essential as the rider’s contact with the wind is much greater on their clothing than the bike. The aerodynamics allows improvement to each riders’ performance.

As just as GOBIK supports the WorldTour teams, we bring the tech down to the everyday-cyclist so the quality and price-range is for everyone and not just exclusive.

The build: A Stelbel SB/04 EVO custom bicycle using Columbus Spirit Steel + 3D in-house steel printouts from Stelbel. Made in Italy.

The Stelbel SB/04 EVO is a state-of-the-art steel racing bicycle frame handcrafted in Italy. It delivers exceptional power transfer while maintaining an excellent vibration-damping ride feel. It uses Columbus custom steel tubing match with 3D-printed steel dropouts. Steel tubes reduces road chatter and vibration and it lowers rider-fatigue over long distances. Despite Stelbel SB/04 being a steel bike, it has “an excellent road-feel and tracks well on-speed". The SB/04 features a tapered headtube and a redesigned T47 bottom bracket shell that stiffens the front triangle and bottom bracket. This will ensure SB/04 responds immediately when standing out of the saddle or accelerating. The EVO system incorporates a hidden cable routing system. With a range of ‘integrated cockpit systems’ such as Deda Alanera Cockpit, cables are now hidden inside and the front-end looks clean and uncluttered. Each Stelbel SB/04 EVO is made-to-measure which means we put you through a bike-fitting process to determine your best sizing before we send the geometry to Italy to be built.

Which means you will be asked some questions such as, what type of riding you do? Road-only, gravel-rides, flat speed, mountain climbs, long-endurance-granfondos, any pain-issues such as a niggling back injury, less flexy, or very fit and sporty, so yes we will go in quite personal but no worries we keep your info P&C. The CIA won’t know anything.

Production Timeline: 6-8 months from a bike-fit geometry submission + a 50% deposit
