Yoga shouldn’t be reduced to “touching your toes.” Flexibility is only one small part of the practice. The deeper work is learning how to breathe, regulate the nervous system, and create safety in the body so tension can gradually release.

A person can force a stretch and still remain tense internally. But with movement and breath work together, the body often softens in a completely different way. Yoga is less about performance and more about awareness, consistency, and reconnecting with yourself gently. 💚
