Celex Media Celex Media Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian digital content aggregator, e-learning platform provider and distributor of e-books, e-magazines and e-textbooks.

Founded in early 2013, Celex Media Sdn. We carry more than 300,000 digital titles in our inventory. We currently maintain Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia’s digital book borrowing platform via the Overdrive (books) and Zinio (magazines). The first of it’s kind, it allows Malaysian citizens from any of the 14 states to download books and magazines to their own personal devices. After a period of time,

the borrowed books will be erased from the devices, effectively returned to the library for the next borrowing cycle. By collaborating with PNM, we are able to provide every Malaysian easy access and affordable reading of the latest books and magazines. We take this idea further by opening our own library called AsiaRead, which is open to anyone in the ASEAN region. Once again, a first of it’s kind, we plan to work with libraries in the Southeast Asian region to provide free access to books especially in the underdeveloped parts of the country. To this end, we are planning to build an infrastructure in rural areas with no internet connection and enable these area s to receive digital books via low orbit satellites.
