This is the kind of graph you wanna see if your heart rate strap is working well.

It's kind of common sense that it should be in a rather straight line while you are om a treadmill set at any fixed pace for a fixed duration.

I cannot accept the fact that many fitness enthusiast swears that "wrist sensors " are working just fine when the above kind of graph could not be achieved.

Being testing a few of those in my training and the graph goes roller coaster !! Can u imagine your heart going 160 one moment and 130 in the next? Only 2 possibilities- choose either 1

A. Your monitor is not functioning well

B. Consult a doctor, your heart maybe having some issues.

Btw, calories burned from the above ( an hour) walk; 400 plus calories burned. Not too bad

Settings 15 degrees incline with speed 3km/h.

Can you get 400 plus by doing weights?? Possible, but you really have to work out like theres no 2moro.

Seniors tend to lose muscle mass (while maintaining fats level) thus losing weight during their later years.

That condition may not mean that person is getting any healthier although weight is reducing.

The above is known as sarcopenic obesity.
