- Punctured - after ~ 300km from new.
Picking up from the last post.
I changed out to a Vittoria Corsa control Graphene 2.0 700X25 tyres from a worn out Good year.
Wishing to give it another go since my last experience with Vittoria corsa was years back when they 1st launched, it was only "graphene 1.0" then... punctured on the very 1st ride ....
Why i particular about puncture, cause any ride would be greatly disturb when such unfortunate happened, and i fully aware luck play a part too.
but I have a little observance and theory on this particular tyres, it has a vertical groove along the tyres, and i believe such groove give chance of small debris to "stuck" in there and slowly work it way into the tyre and eventually punctured it.
So far this is the only drawback on this newly vittoria corsa control 2.0 i have on my bike now. other then that, this is really a good pair of rubber, it rolls smoothly, absorbing the road buzz well, giving much confident on ride especially over less then ideal kind of road surface which i usually ride on.
Cushy, comfy, ... fast or not, I'm not sure lah... I'm just weekend rider, not in any form of competition at this point of time. :)
Peace out ! have fun riding and see you on the road..
