Can you believe this is August in Desaru?

It was a challenging weekend with strong currents and some solid-sized waves. Definitely not the easiest conditions, but everyone stepped up and did an amazing job! 💪🏄‍♀️

We believe every surf day teaches us something even the hard ones. Sometimes the challenging sessions are where we learn the most, build confidence, and become stronger surfers.

At JomSurf, we’ll always make sure you learn, improve, and most importantly, have fun while doing it. 🤙

Good News! Desaru Surf Sessions | August 2026 🏄‍♀️🇲🇾

We’re extending our Desaru Surf Sessions until 16 August! 🌊

The forecast continues to look promising, with fun and consistent waves. Normally, our mid-year swell lasts around 3 weeks, but this year we’ve been enjoying over 1½ months of consistent surf a rare treat for Desaru!

👦 Kids Surf Lessons
🌊 Surfboard Rentals

Don’t miss this opportunity! Once these waves are gone, you’ll likely have to wait until the November–March monsoon season for the next consistent surf sessions in Desaru.

Desaru July Waves with Beach Morning Glory! 🌸💫🌊🏄🏾‍♀️

What a month it’s been!

The second half of July brought shoulder-high waves and powerful currents. Now, the conditions are becoming more beginner-friendly with smaller, cleaner waves and longer rides till end of the month

And the best part? The waves should stick around until early August! 🌊

🌊 JomSurf Journey | Endless GENE tonic🍁

Gene started surfing with us during the last Desaru monsoon season, and since then, he hasn’t looked back.

His passion for surfing kept growing, and he has been making the trip to Desaru at least twice a month to train consistently. That commitment led him to join our Bali Boat Surf Camp, where he caught countless waves and took his surfing to another level.

This season, he’s stepped up to a 7’4” hardboard, and we’re excited to see what’s next.

Keep charging, Gene! The best waves are still ahead. 🤙
