Public Advisory issued by BAM regarding to unauthorisation of miusing BAM name and logo

PUBLIC ADVISORY: UNAUTHORISED USE OF BAM NAME & LOGO

The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) has received reports that SmashChamp Badminton has been using BAM’s logo on certificates and claiming or implying an affiliation with BAM.

BAM wishes to emphasise that SmashChamp Badminton is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by BAM.

BAM has lodged a police report regarding the unauthorised use of its logo and misrepresentation of affiliation.

Members of the public, particularly parents, are advised to exercise caution and verify any such claims before enrolling their children or making any payments.

BAM takes the misuse of its name and logo seriously and reserves the right to take further action.

For verification of official BAM programmes, please refer to BAM’s official communication channels.

Want to know where is your Badminton Skill Level at?

We are proud to announce that our Academy has just launched the Badminton Examination Programme (4 main levels including of Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced & Elite Levels).

Badminton Knowledge, Physical & Court Skill Test will be assesed on every participant who has registered for the badminton examination.

The main purpose of the examination is to uphold the standard of every participant with quality evaluation on overall understanding and ability in the sport of Badminton.

Kindly take note the examination will only be held at specific period of month in a year with limited slots.

Official Public Advisory from BAM

Recently, we have also received several complaints to verify on certain club qualification/advertisement from the Public that they are worried being scammed or joining an unqualified badminton training academy.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind the Public to ALWAYS carefully check on the academy background/advertisement, whether it is conducted by a qualified/certified Badminton Coaches, in order to uphold the standard and quality of badminton training.

BAM has become aware of badminton training programmes and clubs falsely claiming affiliation with the Association.

Parents and members of the public are advised to verify any such claims before enrolling children or making any payments.

Never Give Up!

Today, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to one of our kids trainee - Kayden Sah who has just won his first runner-up medal in a badminton competition.

Kayden is a very dedicated kid trainee who is really committed to the training despite his level was starting from zero basic since last year, Kayden is even able to cope with all the discipline strictness given from the coaches.

A brightful path is always open to someone who is really hardworking and committing like him! In future, we do hope to see more fantastic result from Kayden in this sport - Badminton!
